Our good friend and investigative journalist, Matt Richtel, who put Waldorf Education on the front page of the New York Times a couple of years ago, reintroducing for us the idea that education might be possible without computers, as evidenced in Waldorf elementary schools, digests important research for us in this article. Matt reports on a study offering scientifically proven behavior of “mindless accumulation.” Given our practice in “mindfulness,” for teachers, children, and parents, the concept and the proof have important implications in how we educate the young for carrying themselves in this bright world of ours!
